One of the most interesting aspects of designing soft goods is getting into the fabrication.  There are a wealth of fabrics & trims available and occasionally we get to design custom elements.  Plastic trims, metal details, coated fabrics, compression molded panels, welded construction, synthetic and natural fibers are a few of note.  We work directly with vendors to properly execute each component of the product.  Different materials require their own manufacturing methods which leads into the development phase.
